Minister Karaismailoğlu, who made examinations in the Salarha Tunnel under construction in the first part of the Rize program, received information about the tunnel works from the General Manager.
Passing through the tunnel, which will be completed and put into service soon, by vehicle, Minister Karaismailoğlu made a statement during his visit to the tunnel construction site; We examined our work in the Salarha Tunnel, one of our most important highway projects in Rize, on site. Thanks to the Salarha Tunnel, which connects the Rize Ring Road and Küçükçayır road, the 12-kilometer road will be reduced to 4.3 kilometers, and the 30-minute journey time will be reduced to 5 minutes.
The 3-kilometer Salarha Tunnel, which is important for the transportation of the people of the region and the relief of the city structuring, will decrease the traffic density in the city and the coastal road with the Salarha Tunnel, which is approximately XNUMX kilometers long.
