First Tourist Train Departs From Wuhan Since The Beginning Of The Outbreak

The first tourist train from Wuhan, the capital city of Hubei province, since the beginning of the epidemic, departed on Saturday, September 19 with 950 passengers.

The train, which will go to Xiangyang city of Hubei province, set off for a two-day touristic visit.

This trip, organized by the Wuhan office of the China Railway business, was instrumental in the departure of the first tourist train from Wuhan after the COVID-19 epidemic hit it severely.

Tourists from Wuhan will visit the old walls of Xiangyang, the Xiangshui river and other historical and cultural sites of the city during the weekend, according to the office organizing the visit.

Touristic train services will also be organized in Hubei province, which has been affected by the epidemic, and on other lines to stimulate inter-state tourism.
