Kütahya Governor Ali Çelik examined the road investment studies for the completion of the works in line with the targets planned in 2020.

Stating that the Tavşanlı - Emet State Road is aimed to be completed on February 16, 2021, Governor Çelik said that with the increase of the road standard, traffic safety will be increased, and time and fuel will be saved.

Stating that the Tavşanlı - Emet State Road will be a high-quality road with a cutting standard of 25,2 km, Governor Çelik said, “Connecting the Tavşanlı district center to Emet, it also constitutes 36% of the Tavşanlı, Emet, Hisarcık, Simav state road. And with the completion of the work on the road where many village roads are connected to each other, travel time will be shortened, life and property safety will be ensured, and a positive contribution will be made to the country's economy by reducing emission emissions, ”he said.

Noting that the Emet-Simav State Road, which is under construction, is planned to be completed on July 27, 2021, Governor Çelik said that the travel time will be shortened by 25 minutes. Governor Çelik said, "In this road where there is a large wild animal population, traffic accidents and animal deaths will be prevented with service culverts."

Stating that the work is aimed to be completed in 2022 at the junction of Bigadiç-Simav-Abide Road Demirci, which is one of the important arteries in the highway network that enables commercial and touristic traffic from Afyonkarahisar, Uşak, Kütahya, Eskişehir and Bursa to reach the north of the Aegean Region, Vali Çelik said that the comfort of the road is completed. and noted that security will increase.

Governor Çelik, who also examined the road to Murat Mountain Thermal Ski Center, received information about the planned roadworks.

Additional measures to prevent accidents at the Ilıca intersection were also discussed during the investigations.
