Konya Metropolitan Municipality continues its efforts to raise the standards of district and neighborhood roads.
Konya Metropolitan Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay stated that with the New Metropolitan Law, they have made the last significant investments in 31 districts and 1.154 neighborhoods, and in this context, they continue to work uninterruptedly to increase the standard on the district and neighborhood roads.
Mayor Altay emphasized that they have started arrangement work on the roads of the ski area in Derbent Aladağ, one of Konya's prominent centers in recent years, and said, “Our teams are working on the entire 7-kilometer road. While the expansion work is being carried out on the narrow 5-kilometer section of the road, additional works are carried out on the road, split filling, infrastructure and road level arrangement. In addition, we wish to make the road safer and more comfortable by carrying out reinforcement works. said.
Mayor Altay stated that approximately 14 meters of platform was created on the road and that a hot asphalt coating layer will be made on 9 meters of this platform and added that they will complete the hot asphalt works within 1 month at the latest.
