SERÇE Multi-Rotor Unmanned Aerial Vehicle System was requested by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry for the purpose of making aerial exploration in the region by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry within the scope of the forest fire extinguishing activities near the Eceabat district of the historical Gallipoli Peninsula.

In this direction, the new type of SERÇE Systems developed by ASELSAN were shipped to the region immediately. SERÇE System detected and supported the activities of extinguishing the high temperatures that could not be seen with the naked eye under the ground with thermal cameras especially in the dark environment at night.

The use of ASELSAN SERÇE Multi-Rotor Unmanned Aerial Vehicle System has been appreciated, and the Ministry officials discussed technologies that can be integrated into the SERÇE System as a means of intervention in possible forest fires. It was agreed to work on SERÇE Systems that will be integrated into the infrastructure of the Ministry and solutions that will provide instant data transfer to the extinguishing teams.
