Integration of the National IFF Short / Medium (K / O) Range Interrogator Devices supplied under the Friendly Enemy Recognition Systems (IFF MOD-5) Project conducted between the Ministry of National Defense and the Land Forces Command and ASELSAN to the KMS ATILGAN / ZIPKIN Platforms, ASELSAN executed by. Within the scope of integration activities, ground and flight tests of one ATILGAN and one ZIPKIN System were carried out in Konya.
Ground tests were conducted on July 1-3 at Konya Air Defense School with the participation of relevant military personnel. In the ground tests, using the National IFF Interrogator Mobile Test Station developed by ASELSAN, tests were successfully completed in all MODs, primarily MOD-4 and MOD-5.
Flight Tests were conducted between 08-09 July at Konya Air Defense School with the participation of Land Forces Command, Air Defense School and Land Aviation Command. As part of the contract, Sikorsky S-70 Helicopter, whose National IFF Responder Integration has been completed, has been used in flight tests and tests have been successfully completed in all MODs, primarily MOD-4 and MOD-5.
All national IFF K / O Range Inquiry deliveries within the scope of the contract have been completed. Serial installation integration activities of the systems to ATILGAN and ZIPKIN platforms continue.
