Hygiene Study in ELVs from Ankara Metropolitan

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality has been on the alert with all its units within the scope of combating the coronavirus epidemic. Acting in line with the circular issued by Mayor Yavaş on the increase in the number of cases in Başkent, the Department of Health Affairs initiated a disinfection study in Private Public Transport Vehicles (ELV) serving the districts.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, which has been continuing its hygiene studies throughout the city since the day the coronavirus epidemic started, has been on the alert after the epidemic has increased again in the Capital.

While the hygiene measures were increased in line with the circular issued by the Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş, disinfection works in public transportation vehicles were accelerated.

INTENSIVE DISINFECTION IS MADE ALSO IN OTHERS THAT SERVE DISTRICTS

The Department of Health Affairs, which accelerated the disinfection works of the buses belonging to EGO, the Private Public Buses, Minibus and Taxis, especially the ANKARAY and Metro, also applied the disinfection process to the Private Public Transport Vehicles (ÖTA) serving the districts at the BELPLAS Disinfection Coordination Center.

Stating that BELPLAS teams work in the field 7/24 for public health and continue to provide hygiene support to private public transport vehicles, Seyfettin Aslan, Head of Health Affairs Department, made the following evaluations:

“We have taken very intensive measures in Ankara since the first day of the coronavirus epidemic. From now on, ELVs will be able to come to our BELPLAS Disinfection Center and disinfect their vehicles. More than 23 private public transportation vehicles from 400 districts will be able to get service from here. We want our people to help us in this process. We also do our best. "
