Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality is building the “Pişmaniyeciler Square” in the center of the city for the “Pishmaniye”, which is the symbol of Izmit. The escalator in the Adnan Menderes Overpass for Izmit Pismaniyeciler Square, which has started to be built in the area where the old fishermen are located in the Community Center, will be closed for the safety of the citizens.

THE WALKING LADDER WILL BE CLOSED
As part of the ongoing work in İzmit Pişmaniyeciler Square, the escalator at the Adnan Menderes overpass next to the area will be closed. As of Monday, August 10, the escalator will remain closed for 1 month. The elevator, which was closed due to the works in the Adnan Menderes overpass, will be operational again on Monday, August 10.
