The line of 229 kilometers, suitable for the speed of 200 kilometers per hour, will be able to carry double lines, electric, load and passenger.
Halkalı- The passenger travel time between Kapıkule (Edirne) will decrease from 4 hours to 1 hour 20 minutes, and the load bearing time will decrease from 6 hours 30 minutes to 2 hours 20 minutes. With our project, which we continue to be sensitive to the environment, the intensity of land transportation in the region will decrease, thus the railway transportation will increase, so accidents and air pollution will decrease.
