According to the 10rd stage plans of Kanal Istanbul covering 3 villages, the entire Sazlıdere Dam, which meets part of Istanbul's water needs, will disappear and turn into a channel. With the plans, the drinking water basin around the dam was also opened for development. It was claimed that annotations were put in the deed of citizens, while plans were still pending.

According to the news of Hazal Ocak from Cumhuriyet, 'ground + 3' floor permission was given around the canal. There was no solution in the plans to save Şahintepe-Yarimburgaz Cave.

The 3rd stage plans of the project include 10 villages, namely Çilingir, Dursunköy, Hacımaşlı, Hadımköy, Haraççı, Sazlıbosna, Güvercintepe, Kayabaşı, Şahintepe and Şamlar.

The planning area is 5 thousand 893 hectares in total. The planning includes the village settlements of Hacımaşlı, Sazlıbosna and Çilingir and the agricultural areas of Dursunköy and Şamlar. The Sazlıdere Dam, which has an area of hectares, disappears completely in this plan and the area where the dam is located turns into a part of the channel. The dam's drinking water basin was also under development and under protection. With the plan, this area was also opened for development.

On the other hand, it was claimed that annotations were placed in the deeds of the citizens while the plans were pending. For this reason, it was stated that many citizens objected to the plans.
