Bursa Metropolitan Mayor Alinur Aktaş stated that they wanted to extend the Uludağ University metro line to Görgülü and asked for help from the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu.
Alinur Aktaş visited the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu in Ankara with the Provincial President Ayhan Salman.
During the visit, besides the tender of the 1-kilometer Emek City Hospital metro hospital and wagons to be made by the Ministry of Transport for approximately 5 billion liras, the extension of the Demirtaş Organized Industrial Zone junction and university subway to Görgülü was discussed.
Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Alinur Aktaş said that the City Hospital subway will be tendered by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, including wagons, “The tender will be held in a short time and the construction will begin. The main reason for our visit today is the extension of the university metro to Görgülü. We demanded that the 3 km line be built by the ministry. Our minister also looked warm. We are working on the project. It takes 5-6 months to prepare the project. Görgülü is the new opening door of the city. This place is more suitable for growth, we will extend the subway in the future with the formation of new industries in Hasanağa Kayapa and on the other side in the Badırga Region. However, Görgülü is our first target. ”
Reminding that they had previously signed a protocol to Demirtaş Organized Industrial Zone with the ministry for the junction from the highway, Alinur Aktaş added that the construction of this will start in a short time.
