The 'Bicycle and Pedestrian Road Project', which will be put into service in Ünye district of Ordu, has started. Metropolitan Mayor Dr. Mehmet Hilmi Güler said, “We promised our district of Ünye in local elections. We will realize the project in a year. ”

Ordu Metropolitan Municipality offers another healthy, reliable and environmentally friendly project. The 'Bicycle and Pedestrian Road Project', which is designed as a new living area on the Ünye coast, will be implemented on the 4, 614 meter long route along the bus station and Çamlık entrance. The project, which includes smart bike stations in 3 different locations, also includes disabled charging stations.

Mayor of Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Mehmet Hilmi Güler said that efforts are continuing to expand the use of bicycles and create healthy walking, sports and recreation areas for citizens. Stating that they will create a new living space on the beach with the project to be realized in Ünye district, Mayor Güler said, “The infrastructure works have started on the route of 4 thousand 614 meters. We will renew the infrastructure as well as the walking and cycling path between the bus station and Çamlık entrance. ”

It will add beauty to the beach

Underlining that many different works needed on the beach will be carried out within the scope of the project, Mayor Güler said: “A natural stone wall work will be carried out on the coastal part between Tabakhane and Kırkevler Beach. By expanding the existing sidewalk, we create a 8,5 meter wide green band on the road and sea side, and a bicycle and walking path in the middle. In addition, urban furniture and lighting elements will be renewed along the route. "Good luck to our Ünye."

Mayor of Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Mehmet Hilmi Güler added that the project worth 7 million 261 thousand liras will add beauty to the Ünye coast.
