Rahmi M. Koç Museum Reopened to Visit

Turkey's first and only industrial museum Rahmi M. Koç Museum, the visitors gained after three and a half months together. Offering a safe environment with hygiene and social distance measures, the museum continues to mirror industrial heritage with its rich collection.

Rahmi M. Koç Museum, which temporarily stopped its activities within the scope of Covid-19 measures, reopened its doors. Beauty intertwined with the history of Istanbul, which has a unique view of the Golden Horn Rahmi M. Koç Museum, Turkey's first and the distinction of being the only industrial museum preserves the past 26 years.

Removing the boundaries with the museum tour it offers online and the current content it shares on social media accounts when it is closed, the museum presents its rich collection to its visitors by following the social distance and hygiene measures. Within the scope of the new period measures, the fire of all visitors is measured at the entrance to the Rahmi M. Koç Museum. In the museum, where it is mandatory to wear a mask during the visit, there will be 500 people at the same time.

Welcoming those who want to discover the legends of transportation, industry and communication history in a safe environment, Rahmi M. Koç Museum, Covid-19 training was carried out for all personnel, ventilation systems were maintained in line with the new regulations. In areas such as cafes, restaurants and shops within the museum, measures are applied with high precision. There are hand disinfectants in the common areas, there are disinfectant mats at the entrance of the building. In the museum, which is disinfected at regular intervals, some sections will remain closed until the next announcement, and train and submarine tours will not take place. Training programs and workshops will not be held for a while, and contact screens within the museum will not be operated.
