Koca noted that the hospital, which they expect to meet an important need in the Anatolian side of Istanbul, has a closed area of ​​181 thousand square meters, built on 113 decares of land.

Explaining that the hospital, which was built as the Medical Faculty Hospital of Marmara University, has a history of 30 years, Koca stated that the inability to complete for long years necessitates a renovation in accordance with the hospital understanding of the day.

Noting that the hospital was strengthened within the scope of İSMEP, it was made earthquake resistant with 827 seismic isolators, and added:

“Without waiting for the renovation to be completed, it was partially opened as part of the Kovid-19 struggle and started to serve as a pandemic hospital. When the hospital is fully operational, it will serve at full capacity with a total of 155 beds and 60 operating rooms, including 304 polyclinics, 535 intensive care units and 28 single-bed rooms. We are happy to offer modern hospitals with strong technology to our citizens. Three things come together in the spirit of such projects; vision, execution, service ethic. The meeting of these three elements is a common feature of the brightest periods of our history. ”
