The Turkish Aeronautical Association Museum was opened with a magnificent ceremony on May 19, 2002, to convey the history of Turkish Aviation to future generations. The construction and repair work of the museum started with the permission of the Ministry of Culture to establish a museum on December 2, 2000, next to the historical parachute tower. THK Museum, which was built with a modern museology understanding, provides free service to all aviation enthusiasts with its history hall, the section where models and souvenirs are offered for sale, the section where the Turkish Aeronautical Association and its activities are explained, the cafeteria and parachute tower.
