The Turkish Aeronautical Association (EASA), a member of the European Aeronautical Association (EASA), which has been working on adapting the regulations of the European Aviation Authority (EASA) for general aviation without restricting amateur and sportive aviation and conducting lobbying activities in the EU bodies in Brussels, became a member in 1998.
