IMM beaches are opened on June 19 this year under Covid-15 measures. Istanbul residents will be able to enjoy the sea, sand and the sun at Caddebostan, Güneş and Menekşe Beaches, which offer their guests a day trip during the summer. Entrance fees will be the same as last season at IMM beaches, which will be operated this year by İBB subsidiary BELTUR.
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality opens the 1 season as of 2 June at Caddebostan 3- 2020-15 Beaches on the Anatolian Side and the Sun and Violet Beaches on the European Side. This year, the project works have been started in order to make the beaches of which the business passed to BELTUR become a more enjoyable environment for Istanbul residents. BELTUR did not raise the entrance fee to the beaches. The prices determined last year are 25 TL for adults, 12 TL for students and 10 TL for sunbeds. This year will also be valid. Children between the ages of 0-7, citizens with disabilities and a companion can also benefit from the beaches for free.
BELTUR Beaches, where Istanbul, who wants to enjoy the sea, sand and sun every day during the season, will be hosted, will serve between 8.00 am and 19.00 pm seven days a week.
COVID-19 MEASURES WILL BE APPLIED TO LETTERS
BELTUR fully implements all the measures announced for the beaches by the Ministry of Health within the scope of COVID-19 measures. In this context, the beaches were rearranged according to the physical distance rules. A capacity was determined for each beach according to the physical distance rules.
During the day, guests who are not obeyed the physical distance rules will be warned by making frequent inspections on the beaches. Alcohol based antiseptic or cologne containing at least 70 percent alcohol will be available for use by guests at the beach entrance. Guests coming to the beaches without a mask will be warned and given a mask. The places of guests leaving the beach will be allocated to new guests after disinfection. Areas such as toilet will be disinfected after each use.
While the cleaning works are carried out on the beaches by the personnel in charge of hygiene and health throughout the day, necessary measures will be taken thanks to the safety and lifeguard personnel.

Violet Beach
Located next to Küçükçekmece Lake and served free of charge, Menekşe Beach has a 630-meter coastline. Menekşe Beach, where the rescue boat and ambulance are kept ready for possible negative situations, also has a parking lot for 120 vehicles.
Sun Beach
The Sun Beach, which is 840 meters long, which is opposite the Florya Train Station and is a cool holiday corner for Istanbul in the summer months, serves in two sections. On Güneş Beach, there is a beach volleyball court and a parking lot for 240 vehicles.
Caddebostan Beaches
Caddebostan Beaches, which is one of the most popular places in Istanbul especially in the 60s and 70s and which is regarded as the "status symbol", stretches as 3 separate beaches belonging to the municipality on the coast of the district. Music is played throughout the day on the beaches where the zodiac rescue boat and ambulance are kept ready for possible negative situations.
SERVICE IN 38 BEACHES OF ISTANBUL
Apart from the beaches it manages, IMM also provides lifeguard services in 47 beaches of Istanbul with a length of 800 meters. Within the scope of Covid-38 measures, the life-saving service, which started on June 19, is provided with 1 personnel, 241 Jet-Skis, 35 Zodiac Boats, 7 Drones (Aircraft) and 2 ATV vehicles.
