Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Mayor Zeynel Abidin Beyazgül supervised the double-sided paving works on the Şanlıurfa-Diyarbakır road, which was initiated at the Çevik Force Köprülü Junction.
The Agile Force Bridge Interchange on the Şanlıurfa-Diyarbakır Highway has come to an end. In the past days, 24-hour-based works have been initiated to make the existing one-way road double-sided at the Agile Force Bridge Interchange, which is under construction by the General Directorate of Highways in the direction of the Sanliurfa-Diyarbakir highway.
President Beyazgül, who made examinations on the road, whose asphalting works were completed, received information about the road marking and sheeting works initiated in order to control the road standards and bring them into compliance with the road safety standards.
Mayor Beyazgül, who was in consultation with the technical delegation, was accompanied by Metin Baydilli, Mayor of Karaköprü, 9 Regional Director of Highways Ökkeş Ceylan, Secretary General of Metropolitan Municipality Mahmut Kırıkçı, Regional Directorate of Highways, Contractor company officials and technical delegation.
Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Mayor Zeynel Abidin Beyazgül, who made a statement here, said, “Together with our Karaköprü Mayor, our general secretary, our technical staff, the contractor company and the Regional Director of Highways, we are at the junction of the Agile Force. If the riot of the Agile Force intersects, it will be opened bilaterally today. Meanwhile, there were delays. There were two laps of delays, firstly, the Çevik Force intersection was connecting to Karaköprü and Şanlıurfa, which were very important for a long time, and from there to Diyarbakır road. Due to the fact that the Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality was in the area of interest, we emphasized a lot. In the continuation of a project of the Ministry of Transport, this place, which is the road construction of the Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality, was followed very closely both by our deputies, the mayors of the district, and by us, because the city's heartland and throat had to be built as soon as possible. Today, the bilateral opening of this place is important for Şanlıurfa and I say good luck to Şanlıurfa. But we have one more essential business room; Connecting the lower tunnels section, a considerable part of the tunnels section has been completed and asphalt works are started. After that, both our deputies and we will ensure that this project is put into practice as soon as possible. It was worked here until the morning and therefore the asphalt was laid in the morning hours. This road will be put into service after our asphalt is completely dry and road lines are made. From here, the direction of Diyarbakır was opened from Abide and the other direction was closed, and now both sides will be opened, so we will relax this road network as of today. Today we will open the road and bring this place to Şanlıurfa. I would like to thank our Metropolitan Mayor and the contractor firmly. First of all, due to the fact that the Nimble Force junction is in Karaköprü, we had a lot of trouble in this regard, we have overcome this and thus Şanlıurfa will be relieved. ”
