Büyükşehir Municipality, which has made a great investment in urban transportation, has reached the 75th Yıl Neighborhood via the City Hospital and Kumlubel via the Opera, and has started trial runs on the Opera-Kumlubel line. In addition, during the days of curfew, all the vatman perform orientation trainings on new lines.
After the trial runs between Şehir Hospital, 75. Yıl Mahallesi, Opera, Yıldız and Otogar-Opera, trial drives started on the Opera-Kumlubel Line. Stating that the test drives are important in order to eliminate the deficiencies in the new lines, the officials stated that on the days with curfews, all the veterans were subjected to orientation training on the lines where the test drive was carried out.
Turning the crisis into an opportunity, ESTRAM officials stated that cleaning works continue at stops and trams on prohibited days and warned the citizens to use public transportation unless they have to.
