Minister Karaismailoğlu, stating that the work is continuing rapidly in section 73, which is 6 kilometers long, said, “Hopefully, we are planning to open and operate this place at the end of the year. We are located on the last section of a 400 km highway connecting Asia to Europe. 6 of the 5 sections are opened. ” said.
Stating that they are trying to process the Marmara Region and the Marmara Sea like a gold necklace with the North Marmara Motorway, Istanbul-İzmir Motorway, Osmangazi Bridge and 1915 Çanakkale Bridge, Karaismailoğlu said, “Of course, these investments are great investments that bring vision to our country. These are not just roads. These bring huge gains to the region, economy, employment, production and trade with the investments made. ” he spoke.
Minister Karaismailoğlu stated that they will complete their work at the end of 2020 and said:
“At the end of this year, we planned it as December 21. We will complete the 6th section, which is the last section of the North Marmara Motorway, with the Izmit Junction and the Akyazı section, and connect Asia and Europe in 400 kilometers. After the road is over, we plan to open our high standard safe highway in transit by the end of the year without affecting the city traffic of our freight vehicles, trucks, trucks and the people here. ”
