Mayor of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Memduh Büyükkılıç scaled Gesi Junction on the first day of the four-day restriction. Büyükkılıç, who wanted the Gesi Junction to become much more functional and the traffic flow to be much more serial, followed the works including signalization on site.
During the Covid-19 epidemic, Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality accelerated the infrastructure and road and signalization works on transportation. At the junction here, we observe that about 60-70 percent of the vehicles go to the Gesi side. Therefore, if our citizens pass by waiting at the crossroads without waiting unnecessarily in the light here, the accumulation is prevented. We have brought this study to the limitation in curfew, this gap on the occasion of the feast. In a way, we will bring our citizens to a position to benefit from this intersection after the holidays by finishing the infrastructure in the infrastructure, asphalt work, and the arrangement of the lights, hopefully, by finishing it in a short time.
