Referring to the fact that medical masks and even protective clothing have become a part of daily life together with the pandemic, UTİB President Pınar Taşdelen Engin said, “It seems that masks are now a complementary part of our daily clothes. In the new normalization period, disposable masks are no longer a solution. The trend turned towards sustainable products. There was a desire for the production and export of washable and reusable masks in the industry for a while. It is an important step for both the industry and our country for our government to first set the standards of reusable masks and then release their limited exports. Because there were serious demands from abroad. The start of normalization and the reopening of schools in many countries increased the demands for student protection. On the other hand, with the warming of the weather, the mobility that may occur in the tourism sector will increase the demand in the domestic market as well. ” he spoke.
