TAV Completes the Measures Taken Against Coronation at Airports

TAV Airports is preparing to welcome passengers on June 4 in which five operating airport in Turkey. Measures against coronavirus have been completed.

Preparations for the measures to be taken against coronavirus at Ankara Esenboğa, Izmir Adnan Menderes, Milas Bodrum, Alanya Gazipaşa and Antalya airports, which are operated by TAV Airports, have been completed.

“We take precisely the precautions suggested by scientists, national and international authorities against the coronavirus pandemic, which deeply affects the aviation industry, worldwide. In this process, our priority was to protect the health of our passengers and employees. Our airports have been closed to commercial passenger traffic since March due to flight restrictions. We continued to provide services to the flights that bring cargo and citizens back to the country by taking the necessary precautions. We expect the domestic and international flights to start gradually at the beginning of June. We have taken the measures envisaged within the scope of pandemic certification at our terminals. We will work to provide a safe and comfortable travel experience to our passengers by using the experience at our airports operating abroad and where flights are opened. Since we are located in every link of the airport value chain, from security to food and beverage areas, from private passenger lounges to ground services and duty-free, we will be able to ensure that our passengers receive the highest standard of service at every stage. In line with the Airport Pandemic Precautions and Certification Circular, directions and markings were made to help passengers and airport workers maintain their physical distances across the terminal.

Arrangements have been made to ensure that passengers can receive service at every appropriate stage without contact. Frequently used areas, x-ray devices and surfaces will be disinfected regularly throughout the terminal.

All employees were trained in accordance with their duties. All airports will serve with masks and, where necessary, with visors, gloves or appropriate clothing. At the first stage, non-passengers will not be allowed to enter the airports and all passengers will be required to wear masks.
