14 Million Passengers Used Airline in January

The General Directorate of State Airports Authority has announced the airline, passenger, and freight statistics for January 2020.

Accordingly, in January 2020 year;

The number of aircraft that land and take off at the airports; it was 67.158 on domestic lines and 43.473 on international lines. Total aircraft traffic served reached 145.072 with overpasses.

This month, Turkey serving domestic passenger traffic at airports across 7.799.042, international passenger traffic was 6.131.774. Thus, total passenger traffic with direct transit passengers was realized as 13.952.310 in the said month.

Airports freight (cargo, postal and luggage) traffic; In January, it reached a total of 63.247 tons, 211.696 tons in domestic and 274.943 tons in international.

35.089 PLANES, 5.276.260 PASSENGERS WERE RECEIVED FROM ISTANBUL AIRPORT IN JANUARY

The aircraft traffic that landed and departed at Istanbul Airport in January was 8.370 on domestic flights and 26.719 on international flights, totaling 35.089.

Passenger traffic was 1.263.808 for domestic flights and 4.012.452 for international flights.
