Izmir Metropolitan Municipality and Open Innovation Association organizes an idea marathon called “Hack11Mobility İdeathon İzmir” on January 12-4. The deadline for those who want to attend the event is January 10.
Izmir Metropolitan Municipality continues to work to create a happier city. In cooperation with the Open Innovation Association of Büyükşehir on January 11-12, "Do you think about thinking and designing for a happy city together?" is organizing an event called "Hack4Mobility İdeathon İzmir" with the slogan. The event will be held in Kültürpark 1-B Hall. Participants are expected to re-think, design and express the Alsancak region with a Slow City / Metropolitan approach.
What are the targets?
Within the scope of the event; creation of new routes in transport, reducing traffic, finding creative parking solutions, improving pedestrian rights, improving the right to quality of street animals, evaluating idle areas, reducing garbage problem, improving traffic signaling systems, reducing sound-light pollution and reducing carbon emissions, It is aimed to develop interdisciplinary and holistic solutions on issues such as improving the quality of life of disadvantaged citizens, expanding charging stations for disabled vehicles, increasing the economy of sharing and solidarity, and preserving historical / urban heritage.
Who can participate?
It is possible to participate individually or as a team in the idea marathon where experts and students from design, architecture, urban planning, social sciences, software, basic sciences can participate. Those who want to attend the event should fill in the form by 10 January.
As a result of the evaluation of the jury consisting of experts, the first selected team will be awarded with a 3D printer. The second team will win a 3D mouse and the third team will win a graphic tablet.
