Transport and Infrastructure Minister Mehmet Cahit Turhan was welcomed by TÜLOMSAŞ General Manager Hayri Avcı and TÜLOMSAŞ employees. Transport and Infrastructure Minister Mehmet Cahit Turhan carried out a test drive in the 100% domestic DE 10000 National Diesel Electric Maneuver Locomotive, which is produced with completely national facilities including engines and software.
Turhan, who also examined the TSI certified Car Transport Wagon, then examined the Cordless Maneuvering Vehicle, which is used for the maneuver of the railway vehicles and series, and which has the capacity to pull and push 300 tons on the road and on the railway.
Describing the latest situation in the projects that have been successfully completed as a result of the studies of the R&D Center and are currently being carried out effectively, Avcı, without being dependent on abroad, is a prototype with the 100% National E5000 Electric Outline Locomotive Project that can be produced domestically and sold abroad with high value added subsystems.
