“In this context, we add machines that will open our roads and keep our roads open without snow, winter and storm, within the General Directorate of Highways. In order to fight snow and road maintenance, we add machinery and equipment that are constantly needed to the inventory of our General Directorate. In 2019, we brought a total of 148 machines and equipment, 258 of which were machinery and 133 of which were equipment, to our highways for 391 million liras. These include vital snow-fighting machines such as 97 snow blades and salt spreader trucks, 10 rock trucks, 18 superstructures trucks, 9 loaders, 3 excavators, 9 tow trucks. It is very important that 66 percent of the machinery and equipment purchased are domestic manufacturing. The price of these is 98 million liras. With the latest purchases, our General Directorate has become operational with a total of 5 machines and equipment, of which 12 thousand are moving machines. ”
“Vehicles will be sent to the regions that are needed”
