Those who wish to take the oral exam must complete the process from the application screen by clicking the “First Appointment Application” link on the website of our General Directorate (www.kgm.gov.tr).
After the application is approved, it is not possible to make any changes either by the candidate or by the General Directorate. Applications made by post or otherwise will not be accepted.
The candidate will be invited to the oral exam by starting from the candidate with the highest score in the Public Personnel Selection Exam (KPSS) type indicated in the announcement and for the first time, three times the number of vacant positions. If there is more than one candidate with the same score as the last candidate, these candidates will also be taken for the oral exam.
The names and surnames of the candidates who will be able to take the oral exam will be announced on the website of the General Directorate at least seven days in advance. In addition, no written notification will be given to the candidates.
The applicants will take the oral exam with a photo and approved identification document (identity card, driver's license, passport, etc.).
In the oral examination, candidates, subjects related to the field of activity of the General Directorate (professional knowledge), the ability to comprehend and summarize a subject, reasoning and expression ability, merit, representation ability, suitability of behavior and reactions to the profession, self-confidence, persuasion ability and credibility, general ability and its general culture and its openness to scientific and technological developments.
Those who score at least (70) in the oral exam will be considered successful and the success score of the candidates will be calculated by taking the arithmetic average of the KPSS score and the oral score.
Starting with the highest score of success, the main candidate will be appointed as much as the number of staff to be appointed, and the substitute candidate shall not be more than 20% of the original number of candidates.
In the ranking of the original and reserve lists, if the success score of the candidates is equal, the KPSS score will be high, if this is equal, the candidate who graduated first as of the date of diploma will be given priority and if this is the same, the candidate who is older will be given priority.
The original and substitute lists will be announced on the website of the General Directorate within fifteen working days at the latest as of the end of the oral exam, and the applicants will not be notified.
Objections to the results of the examinations to be made within (7) business days following the announcement date shall be decided within (7) business days and notified to the interested parties in writing.
For the issues not included in this announcement, the provisions of Sınav Regulation on Examination and Appointment of Technical Personnel to be Openly Appointed to the General Directorate of Highways for the First Time giren which are published in the Official Gazette dated 30/12/2014 and numbered 29221 shall be applied.

1) General Conditions:
- To meet the general conditions stipulated in article 657 of the Civil Servants Law No. 48,
- KPSSP2018 score type (3) and higher in 70 KPSS.
