4 November 1910 Russia and Germany decided not to give each other difficulties on the railway privileges they obtained in the Ottoman Empire in Postdam. The two states also agreed to build a line between Tehran and Hanikan to connect with the Baghdad Railway.
4 November 1955 Eskişehir new station was put into service.
