Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality unanimously decided to make 17 discounts to students on city bus lines. 2,00 TL student schedule 1,65 TL, KYK - Campus student schedule 3.00 TL will be 2,50 TL in place. The difference between 0,35 and 0,50 penny will be subsidized from the municipal budget.
Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality 3 in October. Yücel Yılmaz, Mayor of Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality, spoke in the Assembly. 17 percent discount to students and transfers received from the Plan and Budget Commission on the cancellation of the 50 penny presented to Parliament. In line with the unanimous decision, students from Balikesir, 1 January 2020'den benefit from the discount rate.
As a result of this application; 2,00 TL student schedule 1,65 TL, KYK - Campus student schedule 3.00 TL will be 2,50 TL in place. The difference between 0,35 and 0,50 pennies will be made subsidized from the municipal budget. Thus, any damage to the driver trades will be prevented. Students will be able to benefit from the support through Balkart, there will be no discount in cash payments.
In order to provide support, 100 and 150 prepaid subscription card system will be defined. 3 units can be used for the campus line and 2 units can be used for other city transportation. There will also be no transfer fees from BTT buses.
