“As the Ministry, we have renewed the entire railway infrastructure of our country since 2003 with our railway priority transportation policy. In this period of 17 years; In addition to the renewal of the existing system, major developments were achieved in the fields of high-speed and high-speed railway projects, development of the national and domestic advanced railway industry, and liberalization of railway transportation. Turkey, with a high-speed train 6th in Europe, the world's 8th largest country while still at the very beginning of the investment in high-speed rail in the slip and came out fast train projects.

Between Ankara-Eskişehir-İstanbul, Ankara-Konya and Konya-Eskişehir-İstanbul, we provided high-speed rail service to 40% of our country's population. In addition to the thousand 213 kilometer YHT line opened to operation, we are continuing the construction works on Ankara-Sivas YHT line, which is one of the important axes of the railway corridor that connects Asian countries on the route of Asia Minor and Silk Road. We are bringing Sivas to the high-speed system step by step, step by step for this line, where the foundations of the Republic were laid.

Between Yerköy and Sivas, we have completed the rail laying of approximately 100 kilometers. Between Yerköy and Kırıkkale, we started the rail laying works. The 404 kilometer Ankara-Sivas High Speed ​​Train Line features an 66 tunnel structure, which is approximately 46 kilometers long. There are 27,5 viaducts with a length of 53 kilometers. 611 bridges and culverts and 217 underpasses and overpasses were built within the scope of this project. Our viaducts and tunnels are in progress and will be completed in the coming months. Near the end of this year, we will also start test drives on this line. As of the year 2020, we will open this line to the service of our citizens. Our goal, our goal is certain; to serve our nation. At this point, our railways and high-speed train lines are of great importance. For this reason, Turkey 17 years, we have done what is necessary for the railways, we will continue to do so.
