A fire broke out at the train station in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. A fire broke out at the Haramain high-speed train station in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In the statement made by the civil defense, it was stated that there were no casualties in the fire, but five people were injured.

Social media videos, Jeddah Haramain train station, black smoke and helicopters flying from the roof of the scene were seen. The online videos also show that there are about a dozen people on the roof of the building.

The Haramain high-speed train line, which costs EUR 6,7 billion (7,3 billion), was opened in September. The line for Muslims is to connect the sacred cities of Mecca and Medina to the city of Jeddah by electric trains traveling 2018 kilometers per hour (300 miles per hour), with an annual capacity of 186 million passengers.
