China's Longest Railway Completed in One Trip

In China, the first railroad, which was built to transport coal from the northern to the southern regions and completed in one go, was officially in service.

10 thousand tons of coal-capacity train from Hole Baoji village of Inner Mongolia to Ji'an, Jiangxi province, was officially put into service by China, which completed its construction at once.

The thousand 813 kilometer-long railway passes through the Inner Mongolia Region of China and the Sha'anxi, Shanxi, Henan, Hubei, Hunan and Jiangxi provinces. The project is also the longest heavy-duty railway in the world. The railway is of great importance for transporting coal from the northern to the southern regions and for national energy distribution.
