Medipol University opposed the news that the TCDD Guest House and the TCDD Museum Building were given to them. The university used the expressions “It was not given to us, it was allocated” in the recitation it sent to the Birgün newspaper.

Medipol University used the following expressions in the memo sent by Birgün newspaper on the 29 July issue of the news titled “Big ass plunder in the middle of Ankara”: “It was claimed that the TCDD Guest House and the TCDD Museum Building were given to the client institution on the headline page of the newspaper; Communicating with the 'granted' installation of only the allocated building and plot, which was not granted to the client institution, means the distortion of a legal reality with the most optimistic approach. ”

In the disclaimer in which Birgün shares the details, it is stated that the guest house and museum are 'allocated' to the university at 12 June 2018. In addition, the statement in the reparation, Health Minister Fahrettin Koca resigned from his duties at the university immediately after becoming Minister of Health, and the name of the news in question, 'smear campaign' said.

GRANTING IS NOT POSSIBLE

On the other hand, university rector Ahmet Zeki Şengil said on July 29, “In some of the news, photographs were used to cause the building in question to be perceived as the main building of the Ankara Train Station. However, the subject has nothing to do with the main building. The historical Ankara Train Station main building is owned by TCDD and continues to be used by TCDD. ”Our university has rented this additional building and guesthouse for 29 years at a real fair value from Milli Emlak. In other words, there is no such thing as “grant” or “giving”.

Sengil also said the process was carried out two years ago.
