The Metropolitan Has Taken Over Karakoyun Intersection, The Work Has Accelerated

Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality teams, which took over the Karakoyun Bridge Junction project with the instructions of the Mayor Beyazgül, accelerated their work in the field after the contractor stopped the works.

Works at the Karakoyun Bridge Crossroad, which will relieve Şanlıurfa traffic to a large extent and built by the Metropolitan Municipality, have been accelerated by the instruction of Mayor Zeynel Abidin Beyazgül. The Metropolitan Municipality teams, who took over the project with the withdrawal of the contractor in the construction of the bridge crossroads, which were previously owned by the contractor company, continue to work on the construction of additional roads. Mayor Beyazgül, who made examinations at the Köprülü intersection, stated that all teams will work together and finish the intersection as soon as possible.

Emphasizing the necessity of completing the project as soon as possible, President Beyazgül said, “One year ago, he applied to the liquidation committee regarding the Karakoyun Köprülü Junction, thinking that the contractor of this place was damaged. The subject waited for a long time in the liquidation committee. After he returned from the liquidation committee, meetings were held with the contractor and asked whether he would continue. The contractor said that he had damaged, that it should be liquidated by the Metropolitan Municipality. We stated that we would not liquidate, but that it should continue. When the contractor did not continue, we signed a protocol and stated that we, as Metropolitan, undertake the work from now on. We recorded all this with a protocol, ”he said.

Stating that the construction of the bridge crossroad will be completed before the festival, Mayor Beyazgül said, “From now on, it will be completed by the Metropolitan Municipality. I hope it will be opened to the service of our citizens of Şanlıurfa before the festival. On the one hand, our Department of Science works with all construction equipment, on the other hand our General Directorate of ŞUSKI works. After a feverish work, we will open this place for our Urfa. Good luck already, "he said.
