Singapore Civil Aviation Authority (CAAS) delegation visited DHMİ Istanbul Airport Air Traffic Control Tower and Istanbul Approach Control Units.

Deputy Head of Soh Poh Theen and Director Yeo Cheng Nam in Singapore, CAAS delegation was informed by DHMİ Airport Directorate officials about building, technical equipment and air traffic operation at Istanbul Airport Control Tower.

The delegation then visited Ataturk, Istanbul and Sabiha Gokcen Airport, 177 air traffic controller and Approach Control Unit, which provides Approach Radar Control services.

Here, the delegation was informed about Point Merge methods (SID-STAR), which is the number one application in the world's airspace application which was designed by DHMİ and which started to be used with the transportation to Istanbul Airport and which reduces the carbon emissions, and atcTRsim simulators developed by DHMİ and trainings. .
