Overpass Built at Köseköy Interchange

A modern steel overpass was built on the Köseköy Bridge Interchange, which provides connection to the Kartepe district center by the Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality and carries the vehicle traffic on the Istanbul - Ankara route. The 53 meter long steel overpass built by the Department of Science Affairs provides safe transportation for citizens who switch between Dumlupınar and Istasyon neighborhoods.

FOR SAFE TRANSPORTATION
While the Metropolitan Municipality produces important projects for the smooth and smooth flow of the transportation network, it also builds modern overpasses so that the citizens do not have problems in crossing. Thanks to the overpasses made to the needed points of the city, citizens can be reached safely and comfortably. One of these structures was the modern overpass built at the Köprülü Junction, which was brought to Köseköy.

53 METERS LONG
The overpass, built to serve the citizens and built as a double span, has a length of 53 meters and a width of 3 meters. There are two staircases and two elevators in the overpass. The new steel overpass was built using 115 tons of steel material. Landscaping of the modern overpass has also been completed.

FLOOR COVERED WITH TARTAN TRACK
The old concrete overpass was demolished and the newly built steel overpass was put into use with a modern and stylish look. The staircase and walking platform of the overpass were covered with tartan runway material made of non-slip rubber. The construction of the lighting poles overpass, which provided safe transportation of citizens across the region.
