Our General Manager Dr. Varank's Filyos visit. Hüseyin Soykan stated that the Filyos Port project is one of the indispensable projects for Kardemir. General Manager Hüseyin Soykan said the following in his assessment.
“As it is known, in the near future we will reach a production capacity of 3,5 Million tons. By the end of this year, we will have reached a capacity of 2,9 million tons. In parallel, we increase our product range. In our 200 wheel plant with a capacity of one thousand units per year, we are working to start mass production. We aim to produce steel grades for the automotive and defense industries. Filyos Port is a must for both export and import of raw materials. Filyos is not just a port project. As Mr. Minister stated, along with the industrial and free zones behind it, our country will have a gateway to the Black Sea and from there to the world. one of Turkey's emblematic projects. We, as Kardemir, would like to take part in this great project and we once again conveyed our expectations on this matter to our Minister on the occasion of this visit. They also stated that they are aware of the importance of Kardemir for the region and the country, that they are aware of our efforts to produce steel for the automotive and defense industries and that they are very pleased. They also said they were eagerly awaiting the start of mass production on the railway wheel and that they would come to the opening itself. They congratulated our company especially for the production of value-added products and our 2023 goals ”.
