Mersin Metropolitan Municipality brings together all the stakeholders of the city in workshops organized within the scope of Strategic Plan studies. In this context, the Transportation Department of the Metropolitan Municipality organized a Transportation Workshop within the framework of the preparation of the Strategic Plan for the 2020-2024 period. During the workshop, information was exchanged with relevant stakeholders about the policies to be implemented and projects to be implemented within the province of Mersin during the next 5 year.

Mersin Metropolitan Municipality, which continues to work on the realization of important investments in Mersin, is carrying out the preparations of the Strategic Plan on the one hand and gathering all the stakeholders of the city and getting the opinions of all segments.
In this context, many departments within the Metropolitan Municipality are organizing workshops in the process of preparing the Strategic Plan. The Department of Transportation also undertakes an important workshop and continues to work on projects to be prepared at the point of planning the future of Mersin.
In the workshop, which started with the opening speech of Ersan Topçuoğlu, Head of Transportation Department, a presentation was made about the projects realized by the Department of Transportation in the Strategic Plan between 2017-2019 and to be realized in the future.
Ideas exchanged about important projects
The workshop was organized to bring together participatory municipalism and stakeholders in the city, to take steps in line with their opinions and suggestions, to prepare projects and to create investment plans. These projects will be carried out together with the coordination of district municipalities.
