The new management of the Eskişehir Rail Systems Cluster held its first Board Meeting at the Eskişehir Chamber of Industry (ESO). Before the meeting, members of the Board of Directors met with ESO President Celalettin Kesikbaş and evaluated important projects on the agenda in the sector.
Stating that they are ready to provide all kinds of support to the Rail Systems Cluster, ESO President Kesikbaş stated that they are in the works of national high speed train, URAYSİM and establishment of railway connections to Eskişehir ports and they closely follow these issues.
As ESO, Kesikbaş stated that they are conducting a European Union project in order to increase the exports in the rail systems sector and underlined that many activities such as training, consultancy, overseas marketing delegations and purchasing committees from abroad will be supported and dozens of companies operating in the sector will be supported with the project.
Strategic plan ready
The Chairman of the Rail Systems Cluster, Hayri Avcı stated that they came to the General Assembly at the end of May and wanted to evaluate the advantages of the cluster to the highest extent with a renewed vision.
Avci stated that they will act within the framework of the strategic planning of the cluster in the new period, especially at home and abroad meetings, overseas delegations, fair visits, benefiting from state support-incentive funds, sectoral panels, establishing close interaction with the public, on the basis of firm capacity and ability to work underlined that will be done.
