Electrification Tests Started on Tavşanlı Balıkesir Railway Line

Electric Train Management is carried out in Eskişehir-Kütahya-Tavşanlı Line section of TCDD 7th Regional Directorate railway lines. After the construction of the Tavşanlı Balıkesir line section was completed and the energy was given, the Test Studies were started. The test studies were carried out with the participation of TCDD 7th Region Manager Adem Sivri, TCDD General Directorate Modernization Department Deputy Head Yılmaz Acar, 7th Region Modernization Manager Yusuf Tetik, Maintenance Manager Teksin Geldi and Technical Staff of the Reception Committee.

Upon completion of this line, the Ankara-Eskişehir-Kütahya-Balıkesir-İzmir Line will be opened to the continuous Electric Train Operation and economic train operations will be provided between Ankara and İzmir.
