Georgian Railways Logistics and Terminal Management Company and TCDD Tasimacilik AS delegations came together in Ankara for the further activation of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line connected to the Middle Corridor TITR (Trans Caspian International Transport Route - Middle Corridor).
Georgian delegation, prior to the meeting TCDD General Director Ali Ihsan Appropriate Transport and TCDD General Manager when making a return visit Erol Arikan, was assessed cooperation between Georgia and Turkey railways.

After the visit, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Georgian Railways Logistics and Terminal Management Company and TCDD Taşımacılık AŞ in order to make the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line connected to the Middle Corridor TITR more effective and efficient, in the meeting hall of TCDD Taşımacılık AŞ.
Georgian Railways Logistics and Terminal Management Company and within the framework of the memorandum of understanding signed between TCDD Transport Inc., Turkey- Georgia and Azerbaijan was implemented in cooperation with and with the recent construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars made over the railway line of transport between the two countries at least annually 500 thousand tons road map was determined.
The cooperation agreement signed by Lasha Akhalbedashvili, Director of Logistics and Terminal Management Company of Georgia Railways and Mehmet Altınsoy, Head of TCDD Transportation Logistics Department, aims to further develop the cooperation.

The two companies also plan to identify and implement projects that they can implement together and cooperate in the development of international railway corridors, intermodal terminals, loading facilities and other cargo-related infrastructures.
In addition, it is aimed to increase the loading capacity of the terminals operated by TCDD General Directorate and Georgia Railways and to develop joint intermodal projects.
As it is known, the delegation headed by TCDD General Manager Ali İhsan Uygun has discussed the issues related to cooperation on the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars (BTK) Railway Route. / maritime combination and agreed to increase their transportation on the BTK railway line.
This consensus was brought to life by a memorandum of understanding signed in June.
On the other hand, the Georgian delegation visited Pacific Eurasia Logistics Foreign Trade Inc. and signed a memorandum of understanding for the development of the transportation between the two countries.
