The reason for the delay of ankara sivas yht project should be investigated

Transportation and Railway Employees Rights Union President Abdullah Peker said in a written statement that the Ankara-Sivas YHT Project delaying the people and institutions should account, he said.

The written statement of President Peker is as follows; “Although Sivas-Ankara High Speed Train Project was started to be constructed before most of the projects in Turkey, construction was delayed due to unnecessary reasons. This event is one of the biggest evils in Sivas. The project, which was planned to be built in place of the existing station and which we support as a union, was suddenly taken to the university route. We have told the people of Sivas many times in written and visual media that this meaningless change will delay the Sivas-Ankara YHT project. At this point, we see that Ankara, Eskişehir YHT, which was started after us, was opened to transportation years ago.

Despite all these negative developments, I hope that a high speed train will come to Sivas in the last months of 2020 with a systematic work. I would like to urge our Minister of Transport here, please support Sivas Ankara High Speed Train Project.

PERSONS AND INSTITUTIONS THAT MAY CAUSE PROJECT DELAY

The high-speed train is scheduled to stop at the 2 station during the 9 hour trip. After Ankara, Elmadağ, Kırıkkale, Yerköy, Yozgat, Sorgun, Akdağmadeni, Yıldızeli'nden then will reach Sivas. High-speed train passing through these places will add both commercial and socio-cultural value, the promotion of these provinces will make tourism more effective and will provide added value to the economy of the country, and the companies that can create labor force that support production can be more productive in large cities. stopping population growth and providing incentives to other provinces will also balance the population distribution. Sivas and Kayseri, which is the gateway from Ankara to the East, have the desire to make progress in fields such as industry, technology, science and education with the transportation that will enable better development with the employment of the society that constitutes the mosaic of the country.

QUICK TRAIN VISION TO SİVAS

Stating that such investments will not only increase the welfare level of the society, he said, “TÜDEMSAŞ's high-speed train infrastructure and by-product will support the production of materials. The shortening of distances in the transportation sector will be of great benefit in the transportation and transportation of finished and semi-finished products ”
