The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure approved the opening of some viaducts and roads within the scope of the Northern Marmara Motorway Project as of 23.59 today.

Some viaducts and roads will be opened to traffic today as part of the Northern Marmara Motorway Project. Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure General Directorate of Highways published in the Official Gazette, including the V4 viaduct (double-sided) on the port link road at the Kurtköy-Liman intersections in Kesim-07 and the Port-Sevindikli intersections at Cut-5 (Sevindikli Junction) The opening of the V03 viaduct, left-hand carriageways, to traffic was approved by the ministry.

These sections of the highway will be opened to traffic at 23.59 today. The entrance and exit of the motorway will be prohibited except for certain places (such as bridges, fare collection stations) and conditions. Since wire fences or walls built along the highway boundary line were constructed to prevent these exits, these obstacles were not opened, demolished, cut or otherwise destroyed.

Pedestrians, animals, non-motorized vehicles, rubber-wheeled tractors, construction machines and cyclists will not be able to access this section, which is opened to traffic as a controlled road. The minimum speed is 40 per hour and the maximum speed is within the limits allowed by the geometric standards. It was also prohibited to stop, park, turn back and go back to the traffic opening and intersections. In the case of compulsory cases, the right-most safety band can be considered.
