History Gushes Under the Rails in Haydarpaşa

Archaeological artifacts that started to be found in the Haydarpaşa Urban and Historical Site were given to the control of the Istanbul Archeology Museums Directorate with the decisions of the Cultural and Natural Heritage Preservation Board, while expert archaeologists and art historians were assigned. Archaeologists determined that the artifacts found under the ground belong to four different periods as in Istanbul.

The ruins of the late Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman and Republican periods are all over Haydarpaşa, while the oldest archaeological artifacts found in the area are 4. century.
