The 10th “Intertraffic Istanbul - International Infrastructure, Traffic Management, Road Safety and Parking Systems Fair”, organized by UBM Turkey and RAI Amsterdam at the Istanbul Expo Center on April 12-10, with the contributions of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, has started.
The opening ceremony of the fair, which brings together the professionals of the transport and infrastructure sector and public institutions, was announced by the Secretary General of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM). Hayri Baraçlı, Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure Strategy Development Department Internal Control Department Head Erol Yanar, General Director of Highways Abdulkadir Uraloğlu and sector representatives attended.
Speaking at the ceremony, IBB Secretary General Hayri Baracli, increased the traffic in parallel with the population density brought by urbanization, stating that the traffic problem can be reduced by intelligent urbanization practices, he said.
