A New Era in Transportation Has Begun in Şanlıurfa

Nihat Çiftçi, Mayor of Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality, made examinations at Narlıdere Viaduct and Köprülü Intersection, which will be opened soon.

Continuing to expand steel bridges, boulevards and roads in order to relieve Şanlıurfa traffic, the Metropolitan Municipality will soon launch Narlıdere Köprülü Intersection to citizens.

Narlıdere Köprülü Junction, which connects Çardaklıkaya Boulevard and Yeşiloğlu Boulevard, which connects Karaköprü district, will provide uninterrupted transportation between the two sides of Karaköprü separated by Diyarbakır Road.

Metropolitan Mayor Nihat Çiftçi, who received information from the technical team by examining the works that have come to an end in the region, was accompanied by the Metropolitan Municipality Secretary General Abdülkadir Açar, the Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Secretary General Mahmut Kırıkçı and the council members.

Making a statement after the review, Mayor Nihat Çiftçi said, “Our Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality opened a new era in Şanlıurfa with new boulevards and multi-storey bridge intersections in transportation. In this period, signatures were signed for large-storey bridge intersections that a local government could not handle. In Karaköprü, we examined the Narlıdere Köprülü Intersection works connecting the 50-meter boulevard to the GAP Boulevard at the bottom. A great project that we will open soon emerged. We trusted the Şanlıurfa team, they trusted us and our council trusted us and made decisions. "The Çardaklıkaya Boulevard, which we opened with the bridge crossings and boulevard connections we have made as the Metropolitan Municipality, has become a new breathing space for Karaköprü."

“CONSTRUCTION OF KARAKOYUN AND ÇEVİK FORCE FLOOR BRIDGE JUNCTIONS ARE PROGRESSING FAST”

Following the announcement, President Çiftçi said, “Our Department of Science Affairs is not only the Narlıdere Köprülü intersection but our Karakoyun Multi-Storey Junction currently under construction is one of the major projects. Our two steel bridge and two mountain crossing bridge bridges that we have made thinner were offered to the service of Şanlıurfa.

The construction of the Agile Force Bridge Interchange, which is the labor of the Metropolitan Municipality and can be divided into the silhouette of Şanlıurfa, is also continuing rapidly. Infrastructure displacement is very important and completed by our ŞUSKİ General Directorate. The expropriation of the East West ring road was made by the Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Department. Thank you to all our friends who contributed to the project. ”

Thanks to the construction of Narlidere Viaduct and Bridge Interchange, Çardaklıkaya Bulvarı and Kolsuzoğlu Boulevard will be connected to a viaduct with an 430 meter. Diyarbakır Road route will be in the form of branch and late and the whole project will be built with 3 floors with side roads. With the completion of Narlıdere Köprülü intersection works, which are under construction, there will be a seamless transition on the route up to GAP Airport.
