The tower caisson foundation shaft assembly of the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge, which is under construction, will be done today with a ceremony.

Our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who will attend the 18 March Martyrs Remembrance Day and the 18th Anniversary of Çanakkale Victory to be held at the 104 March Stadium, will also examine the construction works of the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge.

The tower caisson foundation shaft assembly of the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge, which is under construction, will be installed by our President Erdoğan. Our President Erdogan will be accompanied by Cahit Turhan, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure.

The assembly of steel shafts on the foundations of the tower caisson in the wet pond will be held with a ceremony. Then the tower will be floated by the foundations of the tower and then immersed in the previously developed final tower by immersing it in its basic positions. After completion of this manufacturing, steel tower installation will be started by making anchor and anchor beams.

The Malkara-Çanakkale (including the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge) Motorway section, which is within the scope of the Kınalı-Tekirdağ-Çanakkale-Savaştepe Highway Project, is realized with the Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) Project.

The project has a total length of 88 kilometers, including 13 mile highway and 101 mileage link road.

1915 Canakkale Bridge

770 3 Çanakkale Bridge, which is the most important structure of the project and with the 563 meter 1915 meter side openings, will be the world's largest mid-span bridge with the middle opening of the 2 bin 23 meter.

The bridge deck is projected as a twin deck at the height of 45,06 and 3,5 meters.

The foundations of the suspension bridge tower will lie freely on the Asian side of the 45 meter, while on the European side 37 meter will sit freely on the sea floor. Bridge steel tower height will be 318 meters.

A total of 4 pieces were produced for each tower foundation in Gölcük.
