German Railways Ordered 23 Vehicles from Talgo for Intercity Transport: German Railways said in a statement on February 5 that an agreement was reached for the 23 trains to be used in intercity transport with the Spanish Talgo company.

The speed of the trains will be 230 km/h. The trains will cost 550 million euros. The first train is scheduled for service at 2023. Trains will work on lines between Berlin - Amsterdam, Cologne - Westerland (Sylt) and Hamburg - Oberstdorf.
