Czech CZ Loko won the public tender to supply four new diesel maneuvering locomotives for the Koper freight station to the cargo arm Tovorni Promet of the Slovenian rail operator Slovenske tedarikeleznice. CZ Loko, the only company that participated in the tender, offered a double quotation of 7.46 million, including VAT or 9.10, excluding VAT.

Slovenske başlateleznice launched the 69 engine fleet last year by Tovorni Promet's 139, a diesel engine, with four new locomotives in 2017. In addition to additional diesel locomotives, the company plans to purchase new electric locomotives to replace the old ones after 15's new multi-system electric locomotive and 2025.

In order to help Slovenske alımeleznice's renewal efforts, Tovorni Promet seeks a strategic partner for the joint venture 49 for the shares of two companies (French SNCF and Czech EPH).
